Last updated: 8 September 2026. These terms apply to the North Sydney Concrete website and to work we quote or carry out in New South Wales.
This page is general information for this business. It is not legal advice. Australian Consumer Law and, where they apply, NSW home building laws cannot be contracted out of. A written quote or contract for a job may add details that this page does not list (for example licence number, insurance, or a payment schedule).

By using this website you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Content on the site (text, photos, layout) is for information about our services. It is not a quote, specification, or engineering report.
You can ask for a quote by phone, email, or the contact page. Tell us the address and what you are seeing. A photo helps. We still come to site before we quote.
A quote is our estimate based on what you tell us and what we see on site. It is not a fixed price and not a contract until both sides agree in writing (including email). Pricing is not listed on this website.
If the job changes after work starts, we will tell you before we do extra work that changes the cost.
Visit type is on-site. We go to you. You (or the owner, strata, or builder) must arrange safe access to the work area and tell us about hazards you know about. We may pause or leave if the site is unsafe.
When you accept a quote, that acceptance and the written quote (or a separate written contract) set the scope, price, and any conditions for that job.
In New South Wales, the Home Building Act 1989 (NSW) generally requires a written contract for residential building work over $5,000 (including GST). Jobs between $5,000 and $20,000 use a “small jobs” contract. Jobs over $20,000 need a more detailed home building contract, and home building compensation insurance may apply. Building Commission NSW (formerly part of NSW Fair Trading) publishes the Consumer Building Guide, which must be given before some residential contracts. Where those rules apply to your job, we will use a written agreement that meets the law. Contractor licence and insurance details will appear on that document — they are not published on this website.
Commercial, strata, or subcontract work may use a different written form. That form, if used, sits alongside these website terms.
We take on concrete cancer repair and tidy remediation, small or large. Concrete cancer is rust in the steel inside the concrete. Remediation is repair of weathered concrete. We do not take on new pours, new driveways, or house slabs.
Work is limited to the area and method described on the agreed quote. If we find more once we look closely, we will tell you before we do extra work.
If you are a strata manager, builder, or agent, you confirm you are authorised to ask us to attend and, if a job proceeds, to contract for the work. You are responsible for approvals, access, and parking arrangements for the site unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Payment terms are those on the quote or invoice we send you. We have not published a standard deposit or progress-payment schedule on this website. Under NSW home building law, the maximum deposit for some residential building contracts is 10% of the contract price. If a deposit or progress payments apply, they will be written on your quote or contract.
Invoices are payable by the due date stated. If a payment is late we may pause work until it is paid.
If you are a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), you have guarantees that cannot be excluded. Goods and services must be of acceptable quality and fit for the purpose made known, and services must be provided with due care and skill and within a reasonable time if no time is agreed. Nothing on this website or in a quote takes away those rights.
We stand behind workmanship for the scope on the agreed quote. For residential building work that the Home Building Act covers, statutory warranties may apply — typically six years for major defects and two years for other defects, from completion. We are not responsible for later building work by others, water ingress outside the remediating scope, or further environmental degradation after handover, unless we agreed that in writing or the ACL or a statutory warranty requires it.
We may photograph work for our records and, with permission where needed, for the Projects page. We do not use job photos on service or blog cards.
We try to keep the site accurate. We are not liable for loss from using or not being able to use the site, except where the ACL says we cannot limit that liability. Third-party sites we link to (for example maps or our web developer) have their own terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Courts of NSW have jurisdiction, subject to any right you have to use another forum under the ACL.
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. The version on this page applies from that date.
